Donegal County Council has prepared a Draft County Donegal Development Plan 2024-2030. You can read the draft plan and associated environmental reports here.
The plan also contains area plans for Buncrana, Ballybofey/Stranorlar and Bundoran.
You can make a written submission on the Draft Plan between the 4th of August and the 13th of October 2023 (both dates inclusive):

As part of the public consultation on the Draft Planthe Council is holding public drop in events across the Countyduring September 2023. See details including dates, times, and venues here.
Please make a submission by one medium only. Submissions, redacted for privacy purposes, will normally be published on the Council website within 10 days of receipt.
Following the public consultation, a Chief Executive’s Report will be prepared listing and summarising the submissions made and giving the response of the Chief Executive to said issues. This report will be taken into consideration by Councillors before they make any amendments to the plan. Any material amendment will be subject to further public consultation.
