NOTICE PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 81 (1) (a) OF THE ABOVE PLANNING

AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001 (AS AMENDED) RELATING TO

THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:

 

MULROY VIEW (PHASE 2), TAMNEY, CO. DONEGAL

 

TAKE NOTICE that Donegal County Council proposes to carry out the following development:

Construction of 10 no. 2 storey social housing units at Mulroy View (Phase 2), Tamney, consisting of 4 no. 1 - bedroom apartment units, 2 no. 2 - bedroom housing units, 2 no. 3 - bedroom housing units and 2 no. 4 - bedroom housing units including all associated site development works.

 

In accordance with Article 120(1)(b)(i) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) Donegal County Council has concluded, based on a preliminary examination of the nature, size and location of the development, that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required.

 

The proposed development has undergone Appropriate Assessment Screening under the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC), the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, and the European Communities (Bird and Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011-2015. Donegal County Council has determined that an Appropriate Assessment is not required as the proposed development, individually or in combination with other plans or projects, will not have a significant effect on a European Site. A copy of this determination, including the main reasons and considerations on which the determination was based, will be available for inspection.

 

The plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at the following locations between the hours 9:00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, during the period from Tuesday 05th September 2023 to Monday 02nd October 2023:

 

 

Plans may be purchased for a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy.

 

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area, may be made on or before 4:30pm on Tuesday 17th October 2023 as follows;
