                                                    CHANGING OF A PLACENAME

                                                    Townlands of Glenlee and Killybegs

 

Notice is hereby given that Donegal County Council intends to rename a road in the townlands of  Glenlee and Killybegs, Killybegs, Co. Donegal, currently named Bóthar Tionsclaíochta na gCealla Beaga / Killybegs Industrial Road.

It is proposed to change the name of the road to Bealach Ghleann Lao / Glenlee Pass.

Road to be renamed

R263-20 (Bóthar Tionsclaíochta na gCealla Beaga / Killybegs Industrial Road) from its junction with the R-263-19 and L-1285-1 in Killybegs townland to the roundabout at its junction with the L-1265-2, R263-3, L-1265-1 and the L1355-1 in the townland of Glenlee.

 A map showing the road to be renamed is available for inspection, during the period 1st November 2024 to 10th January 2025   during normal working hours, at the following locations;

Donegal  Public Services Centre, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town , Co. Donegal &

County House, Lifford, Co. Donegal
